Tim Woolley

Tim is a Methodist presbyter currently serving as Ministry Learning and Development Officer for the East Central Region. He is passionate about mission and evangelism, Nonconformist church history and theological education. He lectures at Cliff College in Wesleyan Theology and Spirituality and his PhD from Cliff is on the origins of Primitive Methodism. He is a keen supporter of Warwickshire County Cricket and Birmingham City F.C. Tim lives in Northampton with his wife Hilary and son Oliver.

NEW BEGINNINGS IN DEVON: A celebration of 200 years of the Bible Christian Movement and new beginnings today

The Revd Steve Wild, President of the Methodist Conference, will lead this day of celebration, resourcing and renewal on Saturday 10th October 2015. at EMMANUEL METHODIST CHURCH, MORCARD BISHOP, DEVON, EX17 6NY (RINGSASH CIRCUIT).

The day begins with worship at 2.00pm and concludes with an evangelistic celebration beginning at 7.30pm. The programme for the day is attached.

Connect4Life

Connection Brings Life was an article published in MET Connexion (http://www.methodistevangelicals.org.uk/
resources/connection-brings-life) which introduced the discipleship programme of Connect4Life. This article introduces a new set of resources which are now available.

CONNECTIONS’ is launched to help make multiple connections! “Pentecost is the time when the Church was first energized and equipped to share the Gospel with communities and it spread like wildfire. Here’s an opportunity to harness modern technology to make multiple connections within communities using free online and app resources – if churches and individuals catch the vision, the fire could spread quickly again,” comments Olaf Fogwill, Ministry Director for Connect4Life.

Preach It! 2015

SJI (Share Jesus International) and LWPT (Leaders of Worship and Preachers Trust) are hosting Preach it! 2015 on June 23rd 2015
at Reigate Baptist Church, RH2 7LR. This is a one-day event for everyone who preaches and believes in the value of communicating the word of God in a way that leaves no one unchanged.

MET at the Methodist Conference/FireFest

MET will once again have a presence at the Methodist Conference from 25 June - 2 July at Southport Theatre and Convention Centre.

On the Monday 29 June, MET joins with Firefest for the MET Celebration at 7.30pm at the FireFest Tent, Mornington Road, Southport, PR9 0TS. The speaker will be the Revd Howard Mellor on the theme, "Vibrant Church - Effective Ministry: Reflections from the East."
