EQUIPPING FOR MINISTRY

Equipping for Ministry 2019 to

 

We run this annual event for student ministers and for presbyters and deacons within their early years of ministry, along with their spouses, children and young people. It is an opportunity for renewal and refreshment.  In 2020, instead of running Equipping for Ministry, the invitation is to attend 
Liverpool 200 Renewing the Wesleyan Vision

The next Equipping for Ministry is being planned for 26 - 28 February 2021 in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. With Rev Chris Briggs as the main speaker.

MET AGM

The MET AGM usually takes place on the last Monday of MAY during the Cliff College Festival. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the AGM was postponed. We are now planning (Covid-19 permitting) to hold the AGM on Saturday 10 October 2020 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm at The King's Cross Church, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. This will be just after WORD 2020, when the Revd Dr Tim Woolley will be teach from Ephesians 4 on the theme 'A Time To Grow'. Click WORD 2020 for further details.

We hold receptions at ECG, Cliff Festival and The Methodist Conference to promote the work of MET and to provide an opportunity for networking, encouraging and praying together.
